Prof. Andreea Mitan, Asst. Prof. Elena-M\u0103d\u0103lina Stratone, and PhD student Elena-Adriana Biea, young researchers from SNSPA, Romania, presented their latest research on SME internationalization, emphasizing the importance of human capital in developing sound business strategies in challenging times.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-9044\" src=\"https:\/\/snspa.ro\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Role-of-Informal-Institutions-and-Cultural-Intelligence-in-SME-Internationalization-CIVICA-4.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"619\" height=\"826\" srcset=\"https:\/\/snspa.ro\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Role-of-Informal-Institutions-and-Cultural-Intelligence-in-SME-Internationalization-CIVICA-4.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/snspa.ro\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Role-of-Informal-Institutions-and-Cultural-Intelligence-in-SME-Internationalization-CIVICA-4-113x150.jpg 113w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 619px) 100vw, 619px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The second part of the event featured a panel of experts sharing East Asian and European perspectives on the role of informal institutions and cultural intelligence in SME internationalization. Prof. Prana Krishna Biswas from Jagran Lakecity University, India; Assoc. Prof. Andrzej Krasuski from Jan Dlugosz University, Poland; Asst. Prof. Yadira Ixchel Martinez Pantoja from Prague University of Economics and Business, Czech Republic; and PhD student Richa Tiwari from Kyungpook National University, South Korea, offered valuable insights concerning the \u201csoft infrastructure\u201d of global business \u2014 social norms, unwritten rules, and cultural differences \u2014 which are particularly relevant for emerging and culturally diverse markets.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Panelists expressed interest in collaborating on future research and publications.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The fruitful discussions initiated during this workshop will continue in forthcoming activities.<\/p>\n<p>This workshop was the first in a series of events on internationalization that the Center for Research in Management at SNSPA
