About the call
The CIVICA Faculty Short Visits scheme supports faculty and postdoctoral researchers from CIVICA universities who wish to spend 2–5 days at another partner institution. The visits are designed to foster cross-university collaboration, expand research networks and strengthen CIVICA’s European academic community. Activities may include giving a CIVICA-branded talk, participating in conferences, running workshops for PhDs or exploring new joint research projects.
Who can apply?
Applications are open to faculty and postdoctoral researchers employed at a CIVICA university. Contracts must be valid both at the time of application and during the planned visit.
What is financed?
Funding covers travel and accommodation costs directly related to the visit (up to 5 nights). Per diem allowances may also be available, depending on the rules of the sending/home university.
Timeline
17 November 2025 (23:59 CET) – Application deadline
10 December 2025 – Results published on the CIVICA website
1 January – 30 June 2026 – Visits take place
