Teodora Popa and Andra Zoica, students at the National University of Political Studies and Public Administration (SNSPA), will represent their institution within CIVICA, the European University of Social Sciences. As ambassadors, they will facilitate communication between SNSPA students and the CIVICA network, and will take on the following responsibilities:
- Become members of the CIVICA Ambassadors Network, representing SNSPA;
- Serve as contact points for students interested in the CIVICA project;
- Promote CIVICA within the student community;
- Support the promotion of SNSPA events and programs.
Teodora Popa is a first-year master’s student at the Faculty of Communication and Public Relations (SNSPA), enrolled in the Advertising master’s program. She has been actively involved in student representation from the very beginning of her studies, coordinating the educational division within a student organization and taking part in numerous training opportunities. Passionate about the internationalization of higher education, Teodora has developed a clear vision of the contribution that a university of social sciences can make both to its students and to society. Her ambition to highlight the potential of Romanian universities within the European academic space has motivated her to become a CIVICA Ambassador, eager to share her knowledge and experiences.
Andra Zoica is a graduate of the Faculty of Journalism and Communication Studies and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Communication and European Affairs at the Faculty of Communication and Public Relations (SNSPA). She chose to combine communication with European politics to better understand how the values of democracy and resilience can be transformed into concrete actions. At present, Andra works in the field of non-formal education on both European and national projects. Her professional experience includes collaborations with institutions such as the Euro-Atlantic Resilience Centre and the Representation of the European Commission in Romania, as well as with non-governmental organizations focused on civic education and public participation. Andra firmly believes in the power of young people to drive community change and aims to contribute to a more informed, engaged, and resilient society, while supporting CIVICA’s mission.
