The Hertie Women in Public Policy Club, in collaboration with Women in Business Sciences Po, Women in Business IE University, and SNSPA, will host “EUWISE 2026 – Women in Social Sciences: A European CIVICA Summit” on 24 April 2026 at the Hertie School in Berlin.
EUWISE 2026 is a one-day European summit aimed at advancing gender equality in the social sciences. The event will bring together students and experts from across the CIVICA alliance to discuss policy challenges and develop innovative, evidence-based solutions at the European level.
The program will feature an inspiring keynote address, two expert panels with leading voices in academia and policy, and a foresight hackathon. During the hackathon, participants will work in teams to design EU gender policies across key sectors, including economics, climate, finance, artificial intelligence, and related fields.
The summit will be held in a hybrid format, allowing both in-person and online participation. It is open to Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD students from CIVICA universities. Participation for the day will be fully funded.
