SNSPA Students Invited to the CIVICA SEF AI Student Summit in Paris

Students from National University of Political Studies and Public Administration (SNSPA) are invited to apply for the CIVICA SEF Student AI Summit, an international workshop titled “AI and Democracy: How to Tackle Misinformation in the Digital Era”. The event will take place on 29–30 May 2026 at Sciences Po in Paris.

The two-day workshop will simulate a high-level European policy forum, where participants will step into the roles of key stakeholders such as governments, major technology companies, and civil society organizations. Through debates and negotiations, students will collaborate to draft policy proposals addressing challenges related to artificial intelligence, online misinformation, and digital rights.

Guided by experts from universities within the CIVICA – The European University of Social Sciences alliance and professionals from the technology sector, participants will develop practical skills in negotiation, public speaking, and policy writing. The discussions will contribute to a joint CIVICA Policy Paper, giving students the opportunity to have their perspectives included in a collaborative European policy initiative.

The event is open to undergraduate students from SNSPA, Sciences Po, and Central European University (CEU), with participants encouraged to apply regardless of academic background. Organizers emphasize that diverse perspectives, from politics and law to computer science and communications, are essential for shaping effective AI governance policies.

Applications must be submitted by 21 March 2026, and further information is available in the applicant information pack and application form.

For additional questions, interested students can contact the organizers at student.ai.summit.civica.sef@gmail.com

The CIVICA SEF Student AI Summit offers SNSPA students a valuable opportunity to collaborate with peers across Europe, gain hands-on experience in policymaking, and contribute ideas that could influence the future of Europe’s digital and democratic landscape.
