This October, CIVICA – The European University of Social Sciences celebrates two years since the start of activities, following its selection among the pilot European Universities by the European Commission.

Nicoleta Corbu (SNSPA) reflects on CIVICA events and opportunities within the broader internationalisation strategy of the Multidisciplinary Doctoral School at SNSPA.

SNSPA’s Mihai Dragoș, an experienced youth advocate, speaks about the current and next steps on youth issues at European level, and how alliances like CIVICA could contribute to youth policy development.

Multi-disciplinary speakers will offer a range of perspectives and include historians and political scientists as well as experts in communication, disinformation prevention and discourse analysis from the Czech Republic, Estonia, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, the USA, and elsewhere.

SIDI is designed for graduate students and professionals keen to learn more about digital innovation, the impact of the Internet and other digital technologies on our society and economy, as well as the multiple dimensions of digital policy and Internet governance.
