Between June 23–28, 2025, the National University of Political Studies and Public Administration (SNSPA) will host the second edition of the CIVICA Honours Seminar, an intensive, immersive academic event dedicated to master’s students from CIVICA – The European University of Social Sciences.
The 2025 edition, coordinated and moderated by Professor Florina Pînzaru, PhD habil., Dean of the Faculty of Management at SNSPA, will explore the strategic integration of organisational sustainability management and digital transformation. This timely theme reflects the growing need for organisations and socio-economic ecosystems to adapt to two of the most significant contemporary disruptions: the adoption of AI-driven digitalisation and the imperative of sustainability.
Through this week-long seminar, CIVICA master’s students will gain a unique opportunity to deepen their understanding of strategic management concepts while reflecting on real-world challenges faced by modern organisations. Participants will approach these issues with a pragmatic mindset, using theoretical frameworks, empirical data, case studies, and hands-on examples to develop concrete, applicable organisational solutions.
The programme will include interactive sessions, expert guest speakers, study visits, and a strategic ideas competition. These components are designed to foster applied learning and a nuanced understanding of digital and sustainable transformations, grounded in both European trends and local Romanian contexts. The full event programme is available here.
The CIVICA Honours Seminar aims to inspire and equip the next generation of European leaders to think and act strategically in uncertain times, preparing them to lead organisations through complex transformations that demand innovation, responsibility, and resilience.
