Digital Transformation and Innovation Ecosystems in SME Internationalization

This topic will investigate the digital tools and ecosystems enabling internationalization and sustainable growth. It will explore how technological innovation, data analytics, and AI-driven systems enhance SMEs’ participation in global markets.

The accelerating digital transformation of the global economy has fundamentally reshaped how small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) operate, compete, and internationalize. Artificial Intelligence (AI), automation, data analytics, blockchain, and other emerging technologies are not merely technical tools-they are drivers of systemic change that redefine organizational cultures, business models, and leadership competencies. In this new environment, cultural intelligence (CQ) and adaptive leadership become indispensable capabilities for navigating uncertainty, complexity, and cultural diversity.
