CIVICA – The European University of Social Sciences warmly invites you on 15 April from 5:30pm CET to the Final Rounds of the futurEU Competition. Join the futurEU final to hear students and PhD researchers from CIVICA present their visionary proposals for the EU.
This first edition of the futurEU competition prompted students and PhD researchers across CIVICA to participate in a thought experiment about the future of the European Union.
39 teams made up of 121 students and PhD researchers registered to propose bold treaty reforms for a better EU. Experts of the Jacques Delors Centre at the Hertie School have invited the best eight teams to defend their ideas during the oral rounds of the futurEU competition.
On 15 April, the two final teams will present their visionary treaty reform for a better EU.
The futurEU Final will also feature speeches by two prominent guests:
- Christine Reh, Dean of Graduate Programmes and Professor of European Politics,Hertie School (keynote)
- Aurélien Krejbich, CIVICA Executive Director and higher education expert, Sciences Po
