Are you a student willing to create innovative solutions for education? Join Smart2Education Hackathon from Wednesday 07th to Friday 09th of June in Bucharest.
WHAT IS Smart2Education HACKATHON?
Smart2Education Hackathon is the 1st Hackathon organized in Bucharest by the National University of Political Studies and Public Administration, Faculty of Public Administration, Smart-EDU Hub together with Ascendia SA.
For 24 hours you will work with 2 other students to develop a smarter way for delivering online courses (based on Livresq: eLearning Authoring Tool and ChatGPT solutions). The courses you’ll develop will need to answer the challenges you and your team identify and improve the overall learning experience (The challenges will be released to enrolled teams on the very first day of the event).
Prior to the Hackathon, a Livresq team of lecturers will provide an intensive course on different techniques for developing course materials in a dynamic way (an example here: https://view.livresq.com/view/633d53feca8a7e0008683807/).
At the end of the Hackathon, each team will present its work in front of a Jury during a pitch session and the winners will be awarded.
And as it must also be a funny experience, entertainment activities will be planned all along the whole event!
CHALLENGES OF THE Smart2Education HACKATHON
- Development of an innovative, interactive and entertaining educational tool to provide course content;
- Deliver solutions to sparkle students’ curiosity, mobilize them and guide their learning process;
- Work in teams;
- Development of an AI solution to increase information adherence;
SCHEDULE OF THE Smart2Education HACKATHON
- Wednesday June 07: Welcoming, constitution of the teams and kick-off meeting.
- Thursday, June 08: Starting the development work with the support of professors, coaches and mentors.
- Friday, June 09: End of the development, Jury analyses of developed solutions and Award Ceremony.
All meals and coffee breaks will be available for free on-premise during the hackathon.
