Institute for Global Digital Policies

The Institute for Global Digital Policies focuses on highlighting the main challenges posed by these evolutions and looks to directly address the need for new public policies, to generate an active debate between stakeholders in the field and to emphasize on the supra-national character of technology evolution, with the support of a team of researchers, experts and individuals interested in the digital field.

• Performing studies and analyses in the field of digital policies, policies regarding innovation and technology evolution;
• Starting debates and conferences meant to generate a constructive dialogue between stakeholders in the field;
• Undertaking specific activities within national, European and international formats in the digital field;
• Creating a community focused on the digital field, whose members are researchers, experts and interested individuals;
• Engaging students at all levels of studies in specific activities pertaining to the digital field;
• Participating in public debates and networks of experts in the field, at national, European and international levels;
• Collaborating with institutes and centers specialized in the field;
• Developing partnerships with institutions, private and non-governmental actors in the digital field;
• Promoting new initiatives meant to support the development of the digital sector and technology evolutions, as well as to contribute to the elaboration of new public policies and national, European or global regulations, adapted to the new challenges.
